Dead Space from EA is sure to please any action-adventure gamer looking for a bloody battle against deadly aliens. Dead Space for PC begins when a massive mining ship, the USG Ishimura, comes in contact with a mysterious alien artifact and suddenly loses its communications with Earth. Engineer Isaac Clarke is sent to repair the Ishimura's communications, but arrives to find a floating vessel that has become a complete bloodbath. The crew is mutilated and infected with an ancient alien scourge. Clarke's repair mission is transformed to one of survival as he fights to save himself and return the artifact to the planet at any cost.
Fight with Weapons and Telekinesis The alien hordes are incredibly resilient. You'll have to find creative ways to neutralize the attacking enemies by shearing off limbs with powerful weapons. And when the ammo runs out you'll be thankful that you can use your telekinetic powers to pick up objects (even the aliens' own severed arms and legs) and hurl them at your advancing enemies.
Graphics, Effects, and Sound Increase the Horror EA delivers an incredibly frightening experience with state-of-the-art graphics and effects, an audio system that will have you jumping out of your seat, and a truly horrific atmosphere that is permeated with death, mutilation, and despair. You'll have to be resilient to slash through the alien onslaught and stop this virulent scourge. As you explore the ship, the tragic story of the USG Ishimura will unfold in gory detail as you discover frantic logs from the hideously transformed crew in their final days.
True Zero-G Effects You'll be able to take full advantage of zero gravity in Deep Space. Battling enemies and solving puzzles takes on new challenges and present ingenious opportunities with the Zero-G game play. You can use zero gravity to create your own path around obstacles by walking on walls and the ceiling. Leap across vast distances or change your perspective to gain a strategic advantage over your enemies.

So 4.99 is around the same price as the steam sales which goes around at least twice a year (Halloween, Christmas, Black Friday, etc...). Buying this will give you a physical copy of the disc in an ugly orange box. The game-play is all right although there were some bugs that made you die. Although the game is supposed to be scary, it fails at it other than a few "jump in you face" moments. Wish the box didn't have that orange crap on it though...

This is a fun game to play. At $5 it is a steal of a game. It honestly isn't that frightening, but none the less, it is a great game to play. Would recommend.

I picked this game up on sale for $4.99, it was a steal at that price. I activated it with no problems on EA's origin platform and dowloaded the game. No real need for the disk unless you have limited internet bandwidth. Great game i highly recommend.

I got this game as part of an NCIX custom built system a few years ago. I initially tried it out but wasn't comfortable with the third person view (it's the same as you encounter in the Resdient Evil games) and there were a lot of other games I wanted to play. I recently came back to it and gave it a try - atfter about half an hour, I was hooked and have not played it through twice. I liked it enought that I just ordered Dead Space 2.

This is a great game. The story is excellent and the fighting is exciting. The only thing i do not like about it was the 3rd person over the shoulder but that is minor.

I enjoyed this game quite a bit. Picked it up for $7 on sale and enjoyed about 10 hours of game play. Seems like a sound investment. I'll pick it up in a month or to, and play through it again I figure.
