This was my first mechanical keyboard. Being a thrifty guy, I set out to buy the cheapest one available. So I did. But in doing so, I wasted my money on the worst mechanical board available.
Had this keyboard for one day, seemed ok but sadly my spacebar was busted out of the box. Would bind and fail to press. Returned for a refund.

This is my first mechanical keyboard since back in the day when basically every keyboard was mechanical. So far I'm really enjoying it. My only qualm with it so far is that the rubberized keys didn't come with regular key replacements. It would have been cool to swap them out for regular keys because when typing with rubber keys you actually do notice quite a difference in how they feel. But I suppose for gaming that might actually be really nice because that way you can just feel your way to the keys instead of looking down.
I bought this keyboard as my first mechanical, although I have tried several in the past. This was to replace an old Compaq beige PS/2 keyboard, in hopes that the combination "asx" would work, so I would be able to strafe diagonally while crouched in FPS games. Spoilers: it did not. Still quite hurt from this, but it is still a vast improvement in almost every other area. I can type much faster on it due to the simplified ALPS style switches (similar to Cherry MX blues, which give audio and tactile feedback) and it is light. More importantly, it only costed $30! The build quality isn't great, as it feels quite hollow, but this is to be expected for the price, and it would probably last a while if treated correctly. The European style enter key personally does not bother me as I have a bilingual laptop with the same layout, but it may be annoying for others. The rubberized wasd and arrow keys don't actually affect typing at all, but I've never noticed my fingers slipping on a regular keyboard so I wouldn't consider it a huge plus.
Seems like a great keyboard. I've had no problems with it so far. The rubber keys are very comfortable while gaming. Never again will I slip off my wasd.

I am satisfied with this keyboard. It is mechanical and, at the price I paid for it ($39.99 w/ a $10 mail-in rebate), is excellent value for my money. The body of the keyboard is plastic, and does not fill me with the greatest confidence at all. It has a limited amount of key rollover, thanks to the USB interface, but that is acceptable.
